The M-65 Field Jacketwas an improvement on the M-51 field jacket. With some changes fromits predecessor such as the introduction of velcro instead of buttons in the cuffs and at the collar, the M-65 also has a built in hood that's hidden in the collar. The jacket is made inwindproof cotton sateen cloth andfeatures four pockets on the front and adrawstring waist, just like the earlier versions of the field jacket. The olive drab version remained in serviceuntil theearly 1980's and was then replaced with a woodland patterncamouflageversion.

This is a Vintage original from 1981. The condition is great considering its age. Labels are intact, zipper's working, drawstring's still there and the pockets are whole.
All in all, agreat example of this iconic jacket!

Allmeasurementsare in centimeters and measured on a flatsurface. Width ismeasuredstraight across the chest from armpit to armpit, length is measured at the back of the garment from the neck down and the sleeve length is measured on the underarm from the armpit to the end of the cuff.
